How to choose the glass for aluminum doors and windows?

There are many kinds of glass for aluminum doors and windows, I believe there are some people will ask which one is better? What should I pick? The following is for everyone which is provided by aluminium doors and windows manufacturers.

There are glazes on both sides of the glass. After the sand is blown, the film on the outer surface of the glass is destroyed and a layer of glaze is applied. Once damaged, the glass is broken simply. Inlaid glass is the most unsafe glass, because after it is smashed, fingers touch the glass shards and simply scratch the skin. In general, during the transportation of white glass, it is also easy to break and hurt, don’t choose is better.

Heat-absorbing coated glass
If the room facing the sun or the west, the outdoor aluminum doors and windows glass should use the heat-absorbing coated glass, and the indoor side can use the normal white glass.

Because heat-absorbing glass absorbs infrared light, it can attenuate 20% to 30% of solar energy and then falls into the heat energy of the room. In summer, it can reduce the load of air conditioners. In winter, it absorbs infrared light and increases its temperature, but also to achieve energy-saving effect. Because the heat-absorbing glass is a colored glass, the decorative effect is also obvious.

Hollow glass
Hollow glass is more energy-efficient. Because the thermal conductivity of the sealed central air layer is much lower than that of glass, the insulating glass has an insulation function twice that of the single glass, and the power consumption of the air-conditioned building can be greatly reduced. Hollow glass insulation can be more than 70% in the summer, in winter it is not easy to lose indoor heating, reduce heat loss up to 40%, play a role in insulation.

Tempered glass
Tempered glass is a safety glass. Tempered glass is actually a kind of prestressed glass. In order to strengthen the strength of the glass, chemical or physical methods are usually used to form compressive stress on the surface of the glass. When the glass receives external force, it mainly counteracts the surface stress, and strengthens the glass itself against wind pressure and impact. . Tempered glass is now widely used in high-rise building aluminum alloy doors and windows, glass curtain walls, indoor partition glass, lighting ceiling, sightseeing elevator access, furniture, glass guardrails and so on.

If the indoor glass is made of tempered glass, then the interior will greatly improve the impact resistance and safety of the glass. Because the impact resistance of tempered glass is 5-10 times that of ordinary glass, its bending resistance is 3-5 times that of general glass, and the safety function is greatly improved.

Explosion-proof glass
A typical white glass and tempered glass cannot receive a force of 30-50 kilograms, but after laminating, a layer of things is attached to the outer surface (such as the explosion-proof glass film of PVC, PT, PP, etc. ) After strengthening, it is also called laminated glass and explosion-proof glass. General glass can accept 50 kilograms originally, add laminated glass, can reach and receive 300 kilograms, call explosion-proof glass.
